Op maandag 31 mei 2010 ontving Kathleen een groep studenten van de Universiteit van Californië. Dat de ontmoeting een succes was blijkt uit onderstaand verslagje, gemaakt door een van de studenten.

A couple of weeks ago, the University of Southern California had the honor to visit the Dutch Parliament and listen to Ms. Ferrier speak. The student of the School of Social Work at the University of Southern California were so impressed by Ms. Ferriers words of wisdom, her passion about the many different topics we covered also made her time with us an amazing experience. The students from the School of Social Work would like to keep in touch with Ms. Ferrier and possible one day have her speak through a live webcast so that other students and professors who were not with us, hear her speak and that way open more doors for the United States to collaborate with the Netherlands, so that our countries can share ideas that can begin to bring solutions to everyday problems. Thank you Ms. Ferrier.
