Together with NIMAR, the EFF organises training courses in Morocco for politically interested young people. The trainings include topics such as the role of the state, society and individual in the country. During the nation building training, the participants draft a socio-political analysis of their country and name those institutions that are involved in tackling problems in Moroccan society.
The aim of the training courses is for the young participants to get an understanding of what ‘rule of law’ entails. They learn about “checks and balances” in local governance and being able to exert influence on local political processes. The participants gain insights in the responsibilities of holding political office and learn how to act and deliberate analytically with regard to policy making.
