The EFF's partner in Georgia is an EPP like minded party called the United National Movement, which is the biggest opposition party in the country.
In Georgia, the EFF cooperates with foundations of two other Dutch poltical parties, namely VVD and PvdA. Together they organise multiparty trainings. In 2014 the tenth multiparty training was held. In total, youth from eleven parties and NGOs attended. The training course underpins the fact that cooperation is possible, even in a country such as Georgia where polarisation is rife.
Between 2010 and 2013 Democracy Starts With You!, a project with European funding, took place in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. DSWY! is an education project that consisted of an interactive teaching method about democracy for high school students, a training on current teaching techniques for teachers, an exchange program and a youth parliament. In total, 180 teachers, 5.400 students and 60 schools took place in the program. In every participating country 225 young people of political parties became involved.
