During the First European Conference on Indian Culture, Miriam Frosi was truly honored to receive recognition for her contributions to the international community in recent years. Back in 1976, the Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad embarked on a mission to preserve and promote the rich tapestry of Indian Art & Culture worldwide. Fast forward to 2023, and the 1st European Convocation, CONFLUENC/E, came alive in Eindhoven!

Today, humbled and excited I accept this medal, it symbolizes my unwavering commitment to Eindhoven's diverse international community. Through initiatives like "Feel Home in Eindhoven," or traslating the vote ballots in english, making the 040 telephoneline bilingual (English and Dutch) I've strived to make newcomers feel truly welcomed and included.

Inclusivity has guided me, ensuring every citizen, regardless of their background, has a voice in our democratic system. Diversity and inclusivity, core values of both my work and the CDA Eindhoven political party, are the cornerstones of a stronger Eindhoven.

My love for India and its vibrant culture has fueled my passion for unity in our multicultural city. Let's build a more connected and harmonious Eindhoven, contributing to a more unified world.
